I do work for a big company. Which does put me in your 'less hopeful' bucket. But, HR seems to be supportive. In the end, it's a very weak beacon of hope. Can't hurt to try is my motto going forward here. Also, preparing to have a big 'No' so nothing can disappoint me in that case.

The international student stream does not require LMIAs or proof of efforts to hire a PR/Citizen. That's only what I was referring to. Sure, conversations going on right now. Will update this thread if anything changes.

An exception is provided for many of those complicated requirements for the International Student Stream, because of the natural expectation that students will have limited experience in Canada. In that case, wouldn't you think it is feasible? As for staying many years at the company, well...

I really want to apply to the OINP Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream. And, lo and behold, my company would not provide me the Employer form filled and signed. Has anybody ever faced this issue? If yes, how did you convince your company? What could be the reason for rejecting this...

It is too late for any of these replies to be of good help to muktak. I do think that the link you shared is helpful for people who want to 'correct' their permits, not to get a reprint of the permit. Because for amendment, you need to send the original document along with the application.

I kind of had the same situation for my work permit. Sent it for amendment via regular mail, and when I asked after the processing time passed by, they said they did not receive it. After some Internet research, sent in a new application to get a replacement (registered). Hopefully all goes...

This doesn't hold true any more. CELPIP has numerous free webinars that you can sign up for in order to achieve the desired score. Also, their YouTube channel hosts a live session every second Tuesday with tips and suggestions on how to practice and score the required.

There is no need to take an appointment. Just walk in with the passport request letter and your passport. If you have proof of your biometric enrolment (a sticker or a receipt), take that with you too. Congrats by the way!!

I think you meant Quebec. The amount is usually 10,200 if going with banks such as Scotia and 10,000 if the chosen bank is CIBC
