Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

So we sent off updated photos, list and copy off passport yesterday and I know it's not arrived in Ottawa yet because I'm tracking it.... Low and behold COPR in the mailbox today! So that request that everyone seemed to have gotten has nothing to do with receiving COPR. Maybe it was a mistake?

Hi PubLandlord Yep, all in the supporting documents. Hi AndrewBrit, I thought maybe if I just sent it all to London we would be okay? I'm not sure. They need to be more clear on their instructions.

We've just been sent an email saying final stage of processing...etc please send two recent photographs, updated information chart and photocopy of passport...is this normal? Also I am getting confused by the wording of where to send this, it says: A) Submit your package to London Address...

Yeah I LOL'd cause I didn't know what to say to you. It turns out I wasn't so special anyway as many December applicants went IP. I wasn't passing judgements on people's applications I was clearly stating you cannot compare this to a passport application - a passport is something everyone has...

The first thing you said to me when I posted that I was IP was "what makes you so special?" - How do you think that made me feel? This isn't a passport application, sure everyone feels like they have a "straight forward" application but that might not be the case in CICs eyes.

I am not really sure why people think it's unfair? if you look at the spread sheets over the years it is clearly not a first come first serve basis. I am sure there is a reason for it that nobody will ever know. Perhaps the Dec Applicants were put on a new employees desk and they are an eager...

We are the same. Few days after we sent CSE we went IP. Your timeline is a bit more realistic to be starting processing though.

Hi Andrew-brit Mine says We started processing XXXXXXXXXXXXX application on March 12, 2015 In my opinion they have starting doing this to defer people from calling, emailing and contacting MPs due to the high processing times. I honestly do not think I will get DM until closer to NOV-DEC -...

    It Gets Better

The current processing time for London is an average of 12 Months and you will not be able to travel outside of Canada while your application is processing. I applied in December 2014 Outland and I am in process. They seem to be working on September and October 2014 at the moment.

    DECEMBER 2014 - OUTLAND Applicants

Glad that went well for you Bob, I am returning to London Ontario myself as that is my home town (born and raised), if you ever want to have a little taste of home there is a great little shop called A taste of Britain that sells sweets, crisps and such on Southdale and Wharncliffe.
