Nope ecas didn't change either..i think ecas and gckeys are updated together...but i read before about other applicants , who got their visa and landed in Canada and the ecas and gckeys were still saying in progress..so always check both email and gckeys and ecas..u never never know where u hear...

They didn't change the GcKeys yet ..but thats normal they not updated everyday..some ppl.get updates on the Gckeys before they receive an email about passport request..some ppl get the passport request email from the visa office weeks before they change the GCkeys updates.

Same.here they requested my passport today ..took exactly 17 month and 2 days

Hi Eagle I just have a question maybe u can help me, Is there a way to know when security verifications started ? In August 2016 we emailed the office asking about updates their response was that my application is undergoing security verifications... A month ago the MP sent us an email saying...

I don't think the refusal came after yrs of waiting...usually refusal comes right after the interview or during the process with CIC ..but not after its stuck with background check ..unless cbsa found out Something thats considerd a red line u know crime , or bankruptcy etc..

Yeah thats why we had interviews..actually my interview was requested because they misplaced my application file..so in may 2016 i got an email to attend an interview..and the interview was very positive according to the officer, the officer said since they lost ur file it must take less time...

Yeah well some people here got their visa in 6 to 7 month after applying ..i am not trying to compare..bas how is our case different i am sure u all have clean records..aslan they should have taken longer with the background check of the Syrian refugees..not with ours!

27 month!! I guess it must be bc of all the Syrian applicants from the beirut office ..3a 7azna!

My medical was supposed to explire in December 2016 But now it says it will expire on 7 December 2017 , mind u i only did medical once. Lol now i feel i won't expect anything before December:/

It says application are processed in 13 month now ..i feel like new applicants will get their PPR before 2015 applicants .
