I didn’t notice it, but just checked and it says on line 2 in ECAS that they started processing on June 4. The link on ECAS when you first log in had always said “in process”. Click the link and it takes you to the line by line information.

I got an e-mail yesterday, but only just saw it this morning: Passport Request. Checked in on GCKey. Nothing there to show a decision made or passport request - just says they are still reviewing Eligibility, Background Checks as before. Logged into ECAS - it now says Decision Made rather...

Did you have far to travel? I’ve seen a few people commenting on travelling long distances at great expense only to be in the office for 15 minutes. When I looked up where I had to go I discovered it was in a building directly next to where I used to work. Literally a stone’s throw.

My guess: Nothing. 18 weeks is about 4 months and a few days. I presume they just change to counting weeks when there are fewer left. The rest is just a rounding error when using integer months vs integer weeks.

Pure speculation on my part, but I would suspect that as Indian applicants appear to be the most common (if the spreadsheet is representative it’s about 40% of applicants) there is a specific team to deal with those cases, even within Mississauga. Cases are already divided up on various other...
