Make sure not to send passport to ND by mail or with anybody else either. Just something I thought you would want to know, as I just confirmed it with consulate general of India in Vancouver for personal reasons.

Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System (CAIPS)

Got the CAIPS today. They haven't touched the file since they received it back in March 2008. Very frustrating. The BF'd Date is July 2nd, 2008 which is now almost 4 months in past. And still no movement.

To make it fast, if your parents have internet access have them print out the form and send it as scanned image. Make sure to print it on laser printer to maintain quality. I did it that way to cut the mailing time. I inquired about the report on Friday and they said that they had mailed it...
