    Thanks. It’s taking you more than 2 years? From what I’ve seen the criminality check doesn’t directly lead to security screening and they two different, security screening does take longer for the case. Hope you get FD soon! I applied Aug 2024 and the VO hasn’t asked any additional documents...

    Thank you for the advice! I called IRCC and they said the background check is at criminality check in progress. I think I’ll submit some additional documents then. It definitely delays, people submitted same time as me already got their p1. How long did it delay your application? Thanks.

    Yes it’s on portal but not tracker. I called IRCC and they only told me there’s no update yet and only told me to wait….
