    Vancouver applicants - (C-6 10/11)

Well considering I've been on this forum since 2013 helping people, I think I've more than earned my exit stamp ;)

Alrighty, last post! I had my citizenship ceremony yesterday in Surrey at 8:30am. We had a special guest speaker, a clerk and a mountie presiding over the event. There were 57 people from 39 different countries in my group. The whole ceremony took approximately an hour and a half and we were out...

Name change after marriage for a PR, eligible for citizenship soon

That's not what I said at all if you read it, I said to apply for the passport IN the married name so as NOT to have to bring supporting IDs if it's in her maiden name. Why would someone ask for proof of the name that's on their passport if it matches the flight info etc? That's why I'm saying...

Name change after marriage for a PR, eligible for citizenship soon

Here in BC, I was married and forgot to send in my papers to have a new PR card sent out as we moved homes in that time (over a year and a half between me getting married, then me applying for citizenship this past November). I applied for citizenship in my married name, as on the application...

Question 11. Employment History. List EVERY job?

By more info I simply meant send them all the jobs they worked in the eligibility period, just as it asks. Nowhere does it mention to send in stubs etc so I would never suggest someone send those in, just like I wouldn't say make sure to send them a handwritten letter stating why you want to be...

Question 11. Employment History. List EVERY job?

In all things IRCC, be as transparent as possible. You can't go wrong giving them more info than they need as opposed to less. Just write your whole job history on a spare page that you attach to your application. It will make your processing faster if everything they need matches up, instead of...

Is my academic record from a Bachelor's Degree in Australia sufficient?

I'm Australian, I had a TAFE degree for my chef apprenticeship, I simply sent them my completion certificate and my grade record for the 3 years of schooling (it was what I was given when I received my cert anyway). I'm a couple of days out from my oath and haven't had any issues with that so...

    Vancouver applicants - (C-6 10/11)

I believe technically you are required to get any non-English entry and exit stamps translated, whether they will actually check them during your application is a whole other story. I got a set of stamps translated (month and the words 'exit' and 'entry' were in Spanish), just searching through...

Reapplying for citizenship from outside of Canada

Just make sure that you enter a valid email address that they can correspond with you on and that, if you can, someone is able to get your mail for you. If it's just a couple of months, it's likely that you would receive your AOR before you returned, and would be back by the time the test and...
