    Landing experience @ Champlain/Lacolle border

Hello all, I've gotten so much info and advice on this forum that I thought I'd share my landing experience...maybe it'll help someone else. I'm a QSW so I decided to land at the Champlain/Lacolle border which is about 45 minutes away from downtown Montreal. I boarded a bus from NYC and arrived...

Took about 20 days. I sent an email on 4/24 telling them I had an upcoming trip and that it had been over 2 weeks that I've sent them my passport and that I wanted to know if I should reschedule my trip (vey kind email of course) and I received an email back the same day telling me my passport...

PNP File Transfer To CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia - December/ January

Hey guys. After getting my PPR a few weeks ago, I was able to do my landing this past weekend. Went very smoothly at the Champlain/Lacolle border. Didn't even last 15 minutes, literally after I was all worked up and ready with tons of documents (yeah I'm a traumatized paranoid person after going...

Application sent in Feb 2013, who already received the acknowledgment letter?

My partner's ECAS status shows Application Received and AOR + booklet sent March 14, 2013 as well as processing started May 8th and here I was freaking out about Canada Post losing our docs since we had not received anything yet! Guess we should be getting them shortly. Someone should start a...

PNP File Transfer To CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia - December/ January

Hey guys, just wanted to reiterate what some have already said....make sure you contact CPP via email if there's something fishy or not expected with your file (i.e. medicals asked when you haven't left the country). They are sending generic emails out without regard to specifics. If you think...

PNP File Transfer To CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia - December/ January

I actually don't think that that fact as been taken into account. Same timeline as most peeps here...no special attention whatsoever. The PPR letter that I received even implied that I was inland (live in the US). I really think all files from BUF are being processed kinda the same.

In the same case as well...Feb 8 applicant. Meds expired but will hopefully be extended. Based on what's been going on I know I'm going to be asked for an updated PCC and personal history. Hope that email comes soon so this can be finalized...would like to get on with my life. Hang in there y'all.

PNP File Transfer To CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia - December/ January

I think i'm gonna go ahead and request another FBI clearance letter even before they ask for it (such a pain since it takes several weeks to get back). I'm wondering if they are goign to ask me to redo my medicals since they are expired and I live in the US and not in Canada (read somewhere that...
