This is great if they are resuming this. I wish mine was in person it would of been better I personally think and then you get your certificate that day verses having to wait 4 weeks like I did for it to come in the mail. Good Luck!

Received my certificate in the mail today. Ceremony was on Aug 30, so it was approximately 4 weeks after oath that I got the certificate. I asked for urgent processing due to travel I had in October. Now it’s off to get a passport in time for my travel that is coming up in two weeks.

Oath was aug 30 just got certificate in mail today Sept 26. Says it was post marked on Sept 21.

Wow that was fast for the certificate. Congrats! I wish Montréal would pick up speed on delivery of certificates.

I don't know if this is necessarily true in all cases. For example my file was marked as closed on Sept 2 and I still haven't received my certificate. I also called yesterday afternoon and the agent I spoke to at the call center said that my oath form was just received in the morning yesterday...

Yes I sent it 5 minutes after the ceremony. Not sure why they just now got it.

i was told same thing today. They just received my oath form this morning from Aug 30 ceremony. Seems like they are really slow

I am still living at the same place that was listed and confirmed on day of oath so I don’t think it was that. Anyways thanks for the response. I’ll wait another few weeks before calling again to see if I get it in the mail.
