I received the approval letter from CIC Mississauga a few days ago and it says the application has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing. Address for any queries is ISB HC of Canada. Is it really ISB or it goes to Ottawa first?? Regards, Asponsor

Sent my spousal sponshorship application in July, approval received in 2nd week of August and file has been sent to ISB. The infamous timeline for ISB is 31months, it was 28months just 3 months ago. Have they sped up the process or has it gone worst? Regards Asponsor

6 weeks I would say, some people tend to get it earlier...really no specific timeline even though they tell you it will take a month. I think you should post the questions you received if you remember all/some to help out others. Good Luck!

Are you talking about the whole process to get to the citizenship exam or just the exam itself? Application process varies for diff applicants...could be anywhere from year to 2 years.
