Hey! Isn't the OINP HCP stream on hold for a while? How did you get the nomination? Or you mean you had applied long back..

Hey Guys! How long after you get a PR can you go to Canada? What if I get a PR this August and go to Canadanext August? How many days after you get an NOI can you accept it? (6months right, and 14days after submitting application)

Awesome. So basically, I should just get my documents ready and apply for the profile on OINP page. I thought that I have to accept NOI in 14 days. If it's 6 months then I have some leeway for the getting documents ready..! :) Oh and another question, I'm about to start college in another 2...

@canada_dreamer Hey! Thanks for your help. I Got it. Will try to. Also, does it mean I will have to permanently settle in Ontario. Or is there an initial mandatory stay period post which you could switch places (like a 2/5 year thing or so)? Sort of wished to understand, what if you plan to...

My parents are already working in Toronto. So, I guess it only makes sense to move forward with it. Only two things: 1. Any immediate likelihood of scores falling below 410? 2. I can accept the NOI, but not sure if I have all documentation to submit within 14 days as I read somewhere in the thread.

Hey @canada_dreamer , I'm at 410 and received OINP yesterday. Saw your profile and was thinking I'm in the same boat; not accepted the NOI yet. What do you suggest?

Okay.. Why are ppl skeptical to take OINP? What's the difference bet. NOI and EE? I would have to work in ON for 2 years?

Wanted to ask how long does it take before you have your scores updated in the EE profile? Also, does the OINP selection happen automatically or do we have to take any steps?

Just talking about the practicality of the situation. I'm going for higher studies and my course starts 13th July, which is why I couldn't postpone my resignation. Now, even though having a work experience of July to July with about 15 days short, if they're trying to accuse me of...

Phew! Thank you so so much! Major relief here. :) :) Should I create new profile on 1st July then, given I started working two years ago on 27th July. Or can I do it now? Also, regarding OINP, I'm wondering why ppl are skeptical to apply through that instead of EE. Does it have a greater fee?

Hmm. Okay, check this out: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/cic-miscalculation.385187/ It mentions that folks with situations like 1y 11m 3d have gotten the 24m advantage and even got a PR.

Who said that? A CIC member? Shouldn't there be leeway given it's July to July :X Just a matter of 16 days! CmonnnN!

I'm almost at CLB 9 and plus at all my scores, plus I have the max. 24 points that FSW gives when evaluating on 100. :(

Oh no.. Not regarding that. I need to clear cutoff for 67/100 of the FSW. I'm at 66 because of 1 year work ex.. Here's the link: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/prodconsum/groups/csc/@oipp/documents/document/oi_en_hcps_010517.pdf So would it be an issue claiming 27/7/15 to 11/7/17 as 24 months?
