Turns out the ghost updates were for language and physical presence, which got completed today. Just gave my fingerprints yesterday. Now waiting on background and prohibitions.

Quite a few Jan 2024 applicants got updates - LPP completed and (me) fingerprint request. I also got a few ghost updates on Friday.

Are you sure you are looking at the test invitation email and not some other email like AOR? For Montreal office the test invitation email giving you the month long window for the test comes from IRCC.MtlConvoTests-ExamensConvoMtl.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

Check the email address you get your test invite email (not AOR) from. If it has MTL in it then it's Montreal. Only other way to be sure is to call IRCC and ask.

Ah looks like they have might have started background check then. Fingerprint requests are always from Vancouver office. They are working slower than everyone else I just hope they don't stop altogether.

January 2024 applicant here. We were just observing that 5% of applicants have crossed the LPP stage with zero from Montreal. No one has heard anything since test complete. Probably zero updates in March so far.

I meant my PR card application :) I never had access to the PR application since my representative did that.

My PR application in gckey changed to approved.
