My PPR was on Nov 20th

I got my PPR on Nov 20, sent passport to CPC-Ottawa on Nov 21, received by CPC-Ottawa on Nov 24 I see here people talking about photographs, in my letter from CIC there was no mention of photographs

Hi I received my PPR on Nov 20, and sent the passport to CPC Ottawa on Nov 21 the same was received by them on Nov 24. can any one help me with the time it takes to get back the passport any input shall be greatly appreciated
