    PPR regular procedure?

It is odd that there are so many different opinions on this even though it would be seemingly straightforward instructions. I think this area could certainly be improved in the process. I did get through to an agent who mentioned it's based on who the letter is addressed to. I think the only...

    PPR regular procedure?

Yes, She lives in Korea (outland application). She forwarded me copies and I sent them to Ottawa since it takes about 10 days for them to get an email back for PPR. (only took 3 days for her documents to come here, then 1 day to get them to Ottawa) We can always submit another copy to Manila...

JANUARY 2017 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

We got PPR today which apparently is good news. My common law is currently in South Korea and I am in Toronto. Would it be logical for my common law to send me the documents in Toronto and I mail them to Ottawa? It says you can get instructions if you don't have a mailing address in Canada...

    PPR regular procedure?

Hmm. Our application is in Manila. I guess the confusing part really is "mailing address". I live and have a condo in Toronto so clearly I have met this requirement. However the photo requirements mean that she would have to send me the photos as I cannot get them here (since she is in Korea)...

    PPR regular procedure?

Hello, I'm sorry to make a thread for this but it's 3am and I just can't find a specific answer. We did outland PR application, I live in Toronto, my common law is in South Korea. We received PPR today (30 days to reply) and from what I have seen this usually means we are approved? Can anyone...

How long has that been blank? That pre-arrival letter must be brutal, that makes me feel like I have a long wait ahead :(. Did you try getting your GCMS notes?

    Korean Outland Civil Status Documents

Hello, I am nearing completion of my sponsorship application for myself and my common-law partner. I am a bit confused by the requirement for birth certificate as Koreans do not have a birth certificate. When I read the Asian General family sponsorship guide it asked for birth certificate...

    Outland Application question

Yeah, I just wanted to be sure. Thanks a bunch. it just seems to easy to do the 1 year common-law with a legitimate relationship. Then do the application and she can still work back home and make money once we initiate the application. It sounds dreamy, other than the obvious long distance...

    Outland Application question

Hello, I just wanted to say thank you to all the people who post here as I have learned quite a bit reading over topics. I am about to start the PR application with my South Korean partner and we have actually been leaning towards an outland application over an inland which we had previously...

Visitor to PR, help me find holes in my plan.

From what I have read we could trade off the bigger application time for a chance at a work permit also. So basically it comes down to: Inland - Slower, potential for a work permit in Canada Outland - Faster, however when our extension for the visitor comes up it's possible they would send my...

Visitor to PR, help me find holes in my plan.

X-Posted as might be better fit here: Hello, I am a Canadian and have been researching the best way to do a PR with my partner. I spent a lot of time reading on the immigration Canada website and have read a lot of posts here and made a general plan. I want you guys to tell me why my plan...

Visitor to PR, help me find holes in my plan.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. The only reason I wasn't looking to do a Outland is that if there is an interview requirement we would have to go out to the office to do this. If that's not as big of a deal as I thought it was I wouldn't mind doing outland.
