This might be kind of surprising, but if biometrics are used to do criminality checks, I just gave the biometrics on 26th Feb and today my criminality was passed according to the agent! That is quite the speed :p How long does security screening take for outland applicants? This question might...

My application also had a ghost update yesterday, so I just called IRCC, The agent confirmed that Eligibility and Criminality have passed, but security hasn't been initiated yet. @legalfalcon could this be because of the reason that I had given my biometrics just recently and they are required...

Hi, is anyone able to log into their accounts to check the status? When I'm trying to log in, it redirects me to cic.gc.ca. Does anyone know of any planned downtime?

It might not be refused, but will it delay our process ? Like criminality/security check etc ?
