You know what - I do not mind 24 and even 30 months of screening, but I wish they actually gave an official limit. No oone wants to be hanging for 5-10 years.- annaamna

Over 2 years delay with citizenship application
Exact same situation for me, it is getting ridiculous. I have lived in Canada for over half of my life, for 19 years(!) and in 2023 I have finally applied for citizenship. Still nothing, "baclground check in progress" since march 2, 2024. Zero movement since then. Im not even calling. Seriously...- annaamna
