did you directly go to the CBSA office or flagpole at the US side? I ask coz the IM-1 is a single entry visa and technically you entered at Pearson - my parents have tge same situation- there were not sent to secondary

That is strange- I applied by courier in Brampton, a few of my friends too and some of them did in person. None of us sent or submitted any originals including Canadian passport not even surrender certificate. Everything was a self attested copy. But yah everytime I have called BLS, every person...

Have you filled the online form on OCI website? Its a mandatory document to upload probably depending on profession you choose. It was for me and my spouse. BLS does not have any jurisdiction or opinion on what documents are uploaded to the website. I added a copy to my courier package just in case.

yep - I uploaded and attached employment confirmation letter and I can tell you I got my OCI :) If you are self employed - you could create a letter with header as your corporation name

Mine was around 3 weeks post the status change on BLS website to : Processing at Consulate General.

Pretty normal. For us it stayed in that state till the OCI was received by BLS. I would suggest checking the status on the ociservices website with application reference number and canadian passport to see what status your submission is.

It took my parents 3 weeks end to end for the passport collection and return...but that was Diwali time in India - otherwise it should be 2 weeks.

it took mine 2 days after this status for the OCI to be delivered, for me there was an Additional Information section that appeared below which had Purolator tracking number.

I uploaded my employment confirmation letter (standard issues by my company) to the OCI website. It is part of the "required documents" list when you submit the application on the OCI website.

Yes it came in yesterday.
