I applied for Surrender Certificate on Sept 20, still there is no update. I have seen in this forum , many are getting surrender certificate in less than 2 weeks. In my case- its been 6 weeks , no update.- AKS@1987

when did you apply for the Surrender certificate. You can apply for OCI with surrender certificate application receipt. No need to wait for surrender certificate. I applied both on same time.- AKS@1987
