Update: received my citizenship certificates today, apparently they did mail only on 21st October despite ceremony on 30th Sep 2020 and ATIP mentioned they are going to mail on 13th October 2020. I am happy that no longer need to be talking to IRCC :-)

So apparently the mail initiated from NovaScotia I have had a little hope before, not now to get it soon.

Did they say why 6 weeks wait ? is it due to the fact the time it takes to assume the mail lost ? wish they ask for pre paid envelope along with the original application would have been happy to do that with tracker enabld.

same here, sent on October 13 2020 still no show, don't know whom to blame IRCC for sending regular non trackable mail of such an important document and Canada post for playing with it.

Anybody still waiting for their citizenship certificate its been more than 2 weeks since IRCC said the certificates have been mailed in REGULAR mail within GTA has not been received !!!

I just got my ATIP request created a month ago, weird enough the case notes says "citizenship certificate will be mailed 13th October 2020 while my citizenship ceremony was on 30th Sep 2020" :rolleyes:

Didn't they say 2 to 3 weeks ? thats what i heard with the clerk who assisted with my oath ceremony.

Indian embassy in Toronto is very accommodating on such situations, don't know if you will have to reach one at BC.You can call them but its true we are kept at limbo for at least a month on normal circumstances between citizenship certificate and OCI card. Wish you good luck, hope your father...
