It was at 1pm. I would allocate at least 2 hours. As they have to sign everyone in and there are bound to be people who face some technical issues. Just remember always be on mute until the actual oath or told otherwise.

I became a Canadian citizen on the 29th January along with 100+ others. It was done via zoom and apparently Mississauga was the first office to offer zoom during the pandemic. Not sure why that explains the delay… :) I was offered the e-certificate option and later on that week...

It varies but you should get something in a couple of weeks (Give or take). Also be very grateful some on here are still waiting for LPP and its been over 6+ months.

It was express entry but my application was anything but express lol. Took close to 2 years to get my PR.

Good news LPP updated on the 4th of January 2024. Just waiting on Citizenship ceremony details now. Do not worry everyone’s time will come! I actually stopped checking as my citizenship test was mark completed back in June.

My PR card expires first week of March… hopefully I get some updates before then. Like most on here completed test end of June. LPP is still in progress. :)

Looks like I have a ghost update… Will keep you all updated! I passed my test end of June and last update was 27th of June. Looks like something will be happening shortly (probably Monday)

Finally got around to applying. Been stuck on LPP since 29th June. Passed Citizenship test 27th June. I just check once every couple of days for a ghost update. Looks like we are being ghosted :) My PR card does expire in March 2024 I hope I am not waiting that long for LPP and Oath ceremony...

I was in the same boat as you. Only today did I finally get a test invite. I really hope you get your invite soon. I honestly felt hopeless. It is coming soon.

I have finally been invited to take my citizenship exam. I am scheduled for the exam! The submission was nearly 2 years ago and the background check took 1 year. Please could admin update the spreadsheet. Thank you.
