I’ve been in Canada for more than 2 years and I think I received this request possibly because of that and also the way my name appears on my passport . My passport does not designate first and last name, it just says name so it’s quite confusing whenever I fill out any applications in Canada...

I actually looked up police stations at first but most of them were closed for that spesific fingerprinting. I ended up finding a third party and did an online appointment this weekend. It was fast and done within 15 minutes :)

Yes I did :) I applied within Canada when I came Ottawa with a visitor visa. I sent my papers to the Vac in LA and it was approved.
