    You can apply if the expiry is within 6 months. Mine is expiring in Sept, and I'm also in the process of arranging the documents. You should send a letter, in addition to the usual documents, requesting the return of the current RTD because you have a valid visa in it.

    Yes, mine had changed to approved on May 15th when I logged in to check that day. Canada Post MyMail feature shows up the notification before card gets delivered. I think you'll receive your card next week

    Yes it's first time new PR card. Ecopr on April 13. Final decision on GCKey for the PR card is May 15. Received card on mail on May 22.

    Got my PR Card today - May 22. Ecopr was on April 13. When you have signed up for MyMail on the Canada Post mobile app, the PR card mail will show up as "Canadian Bank Note Company" so you'll know when it will arrive in your mailbox.

    Traveling with ECOPR

    You can leave Canada with your eCOPR, but you can't use it to board a flight back. Airlines require a PR card or a Permanent Resident Travel Document. You can use your printed eCOPR to return back to Canada via a US land border in a private vehicle.

    $980 is too expensive. Where are you travelling to? Check again on IATA, when you pick I am traveling as / on they have option for Stateless/Refugee. Once you select this option, you can select Travel Document Convention 1951
