    Ghost update is when your tracker shows an updated date but no real updates are seen in the tracker.

    Why not? If I had not called them I would not have found about the fact that Background has two parts - criminality and security. Also would not have known that the file moved to another office without calling. Tracker does not show these things, unfortunately.

    8882422100 Tracker updates will take time. My first update on tracker was almost 1.5 months after receiving AOR. Be patient, it is a long ride.

    Any May AORs got their BG complete yet? I called IRCC and was told that my criminality is complete but security is being done by third party. Also, they moved my file from Sydney to Vancouver (which I have heard is the slowest office). Anyone in the same boat?

    Same boat as you! AOR was May 29 and have got one ghost update + Passport request asking for photos or scans of all pages.

    I think so too. I worked for an year and a half in the states on L1 before moving to Canada as a PR. Hoping the best for you!
