Hi. You can apply anytime you want. You only need the passport for travelling. Just make sure to apply at your first possibility as you never know if things will get more delayed, etc...

Salut. Yes! It depends on the office organizing the ceremony. I live in Edmonton but my ceremony was organized by the BC and Yukon office. They sent me in the invite in PT. I did the conversion to MT. Just make sure to double check the conversion :) Congrats and good luck.

I just received my certificate by mail! Passport application is ready; I will see my guarantor today to sign then will be mailed tomorrow early!

Unfortunately, no! You need the Certificate number to complete your passport application.

You should receive the Zoom link and other instructions shortly. If you don't by Friday morning, I'd suggest phoning CIC.

The officer will ask if you'd like to sign the Citizenship Affirmation electronically and email it or would like to print out and mail the signed document. That's all about it.

Hello awesome folks! I just received the oath ceremony email (letter) by email! I guess it is happening (fingers crossed). I realized the ceremony is at 11 AM PST. Is this normal? For some reason I thought all ceremonies took place earlier!
