Just got PPR. 8 Days after DM. I applied on Dec 8, 2015. Start to finish - 5 months, 2 days :P Long live Liberals and Justin Trudeau! So glad I voted for them.

So how does attaching the medical result to the PR application prior to it being actually processed save processing time? Also, does it mean that the PR application has been sent to the local visa office (even though I have not yet received SA)?

What does it mean if Ecas says that medical results have been received, but the sponsorship approval has not been completed? I thought the "medical results received" update would occur only when the sponsor approval has been completed and the local visa office has started processing the PR...
