To my understanding, if the airline allows your mom to fly from her country of origin, she will have no problem entering Canada.Senior Members Please help..
my parents received their passport back with visa and copr, the problem is they misspelled my mother’s middle name on copr and visa that was stamped on her passport. I already sent an email and webform on what to do to fix this error but i dont know when i am going to receive a reply.
does anybody here experience the same thing? What did you do? Can i just send the passport and copr back to canadian embassy and attach a letter explaining the error? I’ve tried calling also the embassy on our home country but i could not get in. This is so stressful for me and my parents back home
In Canada, the officers understand that type of mistakes happen but some countries do not allow you to fly if the names in the passport and visa differ even slightly.

On ecas under PR application status, I am seeing now that they just started processing the application.
From experience, does this mean things have started moving along on my sponsorship application or is it one of those updates whereby nothing else will happen for some time?

Did they really land in Calgary or just IRCC Calgary processed their PR Portal?
Thats true. Its almost 2.5 years now.
Do you know what would be the next steps? They have the medicals as passed.
Next step after medical is decision made for principal applicant provided you have biometrics valid and PCC is sent.
Many cases got finalized last month from London.

I received medical request after processing started status on ecas. What could be the time line is not predictable at this time. Hope your case processes fast.

We are June 2019 applicants. My father has worked with the Indian Air Force so we were required to submit military documents. We got a request for submission of military documents in July 2021, we submitted the papers. We received another request along with the biometrics in dec 2021, the papers were submitted again.
now in February we received another documents saying the military documents have not been received and that we have 30 days to respond. Anyone else in a similar situation. What do we do? Apart from sending the docs again but how do we know they actually received it unlike the previous 2 times.

In my case medical pass date is September 29th, 2021 London office and since then no news.
Just putting it out there...my parents 2nd medical passed on June 17, 2021 and since then its complete silence from London Office. I guess we have to be patient.
