Yeah both of us are PR and my spouse is in CanadaImpossible to say. Assume at least one parent was in Canada when you applied for sponsorship.

We applied it on oct 10th
Yeah spouse has been in canada since April and we’ve applied TRV as well in November 4th but no updates. Sent millions of webforms and its all useless.Spouse has been in Canada since before Oct 10th? Child sponsorship usually take 5-12 months. It was often taking over 12 months during Covid but timelines have come back to normal. Tough to say when you will get approval. You could always try to get a TRV for your child if you are anxious to get back together and if you are concerned about not meeting your RO if you don’t travel soon. Worth a shot but not guaranteed. No harm in trying.

Our baby was born in end of july and not before April. Why are you sending millions of webforms? Everyone sending multiple webforms just uses resources to reply to emails versus processing applications. Sadly you should have submitted sponsorship when your spouse first arrived in April. You are within normal processing time.

Raised many webforms to get an update of TRV application and not for sponsorship and i dont think that our TRV application are within normal processing time. According to the new IRCC portal the normal processing time is within 15 to 30 days and it is exceeded already.
People who applied on December and January got decision in 5 days or a week.
Ok before you say these kinda disappointing replies please note that i raised webforms just because my application exceeded the normal processing time that they mentioned in the website and i dont think that there are any limit of raising webforms since it is the only way to ask for an update. Many webforms for the same file are quote possibly going to slow the file down rather than speed it up.
My understanding is they have to read and process (in some way, even if to mark it redundant ) every single one before they finalize anything.
And if there's any staff choice - which do you think they go to first, the clean file or the five inch thick one?

People are waiting for a decision since September and the ones who applied in December and January got decision in a week.! Do you think that it is fair?
