PGP 2020 passport request

Hi all,

My parents just got their passport request letter today. However, they are going to flight to Canada to visit me in a few days. They plan to stay for at least 2 months. Do you know if they can submit their passports when they are in Canada? Or do they have to submit from their home country Viet Nam?

Yes they can submit they can request virtual landing in Ottawa. There is a wait time until you can get virtual landing so there is a chance they will have to request stamping in Vietnam if they haven’t received virtual landing before they return home.

Thank you so much for your reply! For virtual landing, my parents can only request after they get the visa right? The virtual landing step is the step after visa is approved?
