For those who are curious about my interview yesterday (Calgary office):

The interview went well. The immigration officer asked to see my passport and IDs (Driver's license and PR card). She checked all the passport pages (visas and stamps). I was not asked to submit my passport pages because I submitted all the pages when I sent the application the first time. So, she just compared all the pages that she had in copy with what I was showing to her (since I'm outside of Canada, my passport had an extra stamp).

After checking the documents, she asked if I had the original copy of my IELTS certificate and I said that this document was in Canada. She said that it was okay. Then, she said that everything was fine and she was going to approve everything in the system and the statuses would be set to Completed in a few days, and I would be queued for the Oath Ceremony. She highlighted that the invitation for the Oath ceremony can take 1 to 3 months (I think it might take even more than 3 months, but that was what she said).

She said that they are swamped because of Covid and backlogs, and are even working on Saturdays (which is true, she replied to an email to me on Saturday). Since I’m outside of Canada, it will be better if it takes at least three months because I’ll be back only in January 2022. If I get an invitation before going back, she said that should reply to the email and ask them to postpone it (it’s a different department that schedules the Oath Ceremonies). She recommended doing that because she said that if I ask to take the Oath Ceremony outside of Canada, it will take much longer to get the invite as it makes the logistics to mail the certificate more complicated.

I checked the system today (one day after the interview) and all the statuses are set to Completed, except the Oath Ceremony.

I hope this information helps someone.
Hi! I’m currently outside Canada as well and have been asked to submit my current status as they want to schedule my oath.
Do you by any chance have a way to contact IRCC by phone so that I can speak to them?

Hey guys. I completed my test on Jan 27 I passed and the tracker updated to completed on Jan 31st. I was wondering, what’s the timeline for the interview? I’m aware that not everyone gets an interview but I think I will. So how long does that usually take?

Here's my situation, I took the test on February 07 and my profile has not changed to completed yet. At the end of the test, I could not email myself the test result because the email button was not functioning. I am very worried as to why it has not changed to completed yet despite 4 days having passed now. I am seeing others in Kitchener office have received completed confirmation within 2 days max. I am not sure what needs to be done. Should I just wait or reply to the test invitation email, send out a web form or attempt to take that test again? I am really confused. Please any help would be appreciated.

I don’t think you have to worry about the fact that you did not print out your result. As long as your ID is visible for them to see, you should be good. Sometimes the test takes more than two days for the status to change to complete, so don’t worry. I will just wait for status to change to complete.

Is it normal though for it to take up to a week or more to change to complete?
