Hello everyone. how long of a wait is expected to get a passport request once primary applicant gets ECOPR?

you can also reply to same portal email asking for ppr for outland dependents. They will issue you the same.

make sure to send 2 - 3 reminder emails every day to IRCC portal email. they will not reply to you but eventually they will issue you PPR.
reason i am saying send 2-3 emails each day as they have same mail where everyday many people reply to that mailbox so for you to be on top of the emails you need to send as many emails everyday for them to see/notice your request.

Hi, I thought of posting an update. We have written to our local MP in Canada.. also, my husband could speak to an agent in IRCC, they said our application was still under process, the extra info that we received was that it is currently at Edmonton office, and that they don't require any docs from our end.

I would be very grateful if anyone could tell me...
- does this mean that all docs/info related to my application has been sent from Delhi VO to Edmonton?
- At this stage is it advisable to write to them regarding an update or something?
- Also, since we've already contacted our local MP n we sent his secretary our consent to represent us to get an update from IRCC, what kind of update/help can we expect from them, as in can they help in expediting our application?

Yes your file is at Edmonton then. Since you contacted MP for help, they will contact the respective office and get you an update. Wait for that. Follow up with MP. I don’t think MP can expedite the processing.

I am CEC applicant with an outland spouse.

AOR: 15 Aug 2021 (File processing at edmenton)
PPR Request for husband: 3 Nov 2021
COPR and passport stamped for husband
Haven't got ECOPR for me yet even though I'm a principal applicant
After sending an email to the portal I got credentials and uploaded photos on 29 Jan 2022
I haven't got ecopr yet
Is there any way to contact them for getting ecopr faster?
As my husband got ecopr can he come to Canada or do I still need ecopr first?
Does anyone know what to do?
Usually dependent gets copr after principal applicant but in my case it's different.

I uploaded picture on 1st feb and atill waiting for both my COPR and husband's PPR.

That's completely their mistake. O god, how are they gonna pay for the pain and stress we get by staying apart. Seriously!! I hate IRCC

I am got portal email on 26th nov and still waiting for PPR

They don't pick our calls and what if you did not try to call and reminded them to issue PPR?
Like if its our responsibilty to beg them to work on our applications

Yess... Waiting from Last two months for ppr for outland dependent. (Medical going to expire next month I guess now they will ask for remedicals).

Got this update through the MP's office..

• The criminality verifications are in process for your constituent.
• The security verifications have not been initiated for your constituent.

Can someone please help me in understanding, what is security verification, how is it different from criminality verification, and how long does this process take?

Hi Congratulations! May I know in how many days your outland dependents received their stamped passports?

Thank you! We sent his passport to VFS last December 20, 2021, then we received the stamped passports last December 27, 2021. (8 days)

What time did you call IRCC? Please let me know as I have been trying to contact them but it never gets connected to agent. Same issue, waiting for PPR.
