Hello,
I am a SDS category student and I got a message from the IRCC that I passed my medical exam on January 5 2022 but it's been 13 days and my eligibility is still not reviewed.
Under the eligibility row it say "your application is in process. We will send you a message when we start reviewing it."
So, I am a bit concerned why is it taking a long time to review my application and will I get my visa?

Why are you concerned? The deadline is 20 days, this is completely normal so don't worry. The next day I applied it got in the same status as yours and only changed after 25 days, when I got accepted. Until you receive an answer, your application will stay the same as it is right now.
They have said multiple times that applications may take longer to be processed.

Thanks for the information and one more thing, many say that if you pass your medical exam then for sure you will get visa, so, is it true?
And also how long does it take to Stam my visa in my passport if I get accepted hopefully?

No, there is absolutely no guarantee that if you pass your medical exam you'll get your visa. They are not even connected to your personal profile or your study program.
The medical exam is necessary only to make sure that you don't have any contagious diseases and don't have any injury or condition that will be a burden for Canada's Health System.
Stamping the visa in your passport will depend on your local Visa Office processing times. You'll have to check with them or ask people that also applied there.

Relax this doesn’t mean anything, you’ll probably only get an update only on your final result now.
Since that the deadline is over, you can try sending a Webform or an email to your VAC to see if they have any news. But honesty 5 days is too short to be nagging them, we all know already that they are overwhelmed with applications.
When is your intake? If it’s not close maybe you can wait a little bit more to avoid disturbing them and jeopardizing your application.
Just remember to be friendly and not demand anything on your messages to them.

So, your suggesting I wait for more 5 days right?
By the way I have to go during summer which is May intake.
What if I still don't get any updates even after 5 days what do I do then?
And can you tell me how you got your visa like the timeline and everything.

Hi ,
When you passed your medical exam and updated , there are more chances of getting visa. Did your Biometric update too ?

Mine was updated the same day , and i received PPR after 10 days. You will get your Passport request soon. These days immigration are working on Afghani applications and also due to Covid it’s will delay. I have been applied for my Co-Op work permit since October 18 , 2021 inside Canada but still didn’t receive any updates. I raised Webform they are saying we r working on Afghni applications these days .

Oh so like within 20days you got your visa.
And when did you ask them cause if it's recently means I must wait more than 5 days I guess.
By the way shouldn't you apply for co-op with your student visa while you were in your home country?

My visa took time bc I applied during Lock down , but after medical updates it took 10 days. I received webform result just 10 days ago. You just wait for the result you will get PPR. Also, for Co-Op when we came here then submitted some assignments and after grading the assignment our University issued a co-op letter then we applied to co -op work permit.
