Hi there,

I linked my application right after I got my BIL (there was an application number on the letter) and haven't received an AOR yet. How long does it take until we get AOR after receiving BIL?

On the IRCC website it says that we should link after we receive AOR. It is even written in bold. Just to bad that I read it after I already linked the application. Does anyone has experience with that? What did you do in this situation? When (or how) did you get your AOR when you linked with your application number from your BIL before receiving AOR?

If you’re applying under the Temporary Resident to Permanent Resident Pathway
  • make sure to link your application to your IRCC secure account after you receive your acknowledgement of receipt (AOR) letter or email
  • you’ll then be able to upload documents we request from you in your IRCC secure account

It's ok many people linked first then, received aor after. If they really want you to link only after AOR, the system will not let you link.

Same here I linked 2 days ago but still no AOR. Should I contact IRCC?

So it's normal that it can take some time to get the AOR?

It's just that looking at other peoples timeline, they got AOR 1 day after BIL and linking.

IMM 0130 was a mandatory document so I dont think your application will pass eligibility

6 may (6:00 pm). 23,000 applications applied
6 may (9:00 pm). 30,000 applications applied
7 may (9:45 am). 38,500 applications applied
7 may (11:20 am). 39125 applications applied
All times are in EST.
I dont know who needs to hear this.
Just sharing the number of applications applied

Looking at timelines
They processed 60k applications in 10 months. So probably they will be clearing 6 may in February.
Bcz very few applications were applied in the last hours as compred to first hours
