@rajkamalmohanram Hi,

On old tracker ecas it shows only we have sent you AOR and discovery Canada book but on new tracker it shows in progress . Does it has to show in process on old tracker then it will be considered as the application is in process or when the new trackers shows all in progress that's enough?
In the citizenship application tracker did you read this as well ?
“This tracker replaces the Client Application Status (CAS) tool. If you've been using CAS, you need to create a tracker account to continue checking the status of your citizenship application”

Yes I read it. Just wanted to know are people updating on the sheet when they see in progress on new tracker or when they see in process on old tracker. Thanks

You don't have to check the old tracker anymore. Check the new one and follow the progress there. The old tracker has very limited number of updates compared to the new one. Good luck.

Hello everyone,

I have the following status update from Immigration Canada in my online account regarding my Citizenship application:

"You've been scheduled to attend your citizenship ceremony on XXX
Follow the instructions we sent to you for information on:

  • how to attend the ceremony
  • what documents you have to present"
It's been 4 months since I've received this status update, but I haven't gotten any instructions either in my email or my mail. To those who have gone through this part of the process already, how many days/weeks/months before your citizenship ceremony did you receive your instructions?

Thank you in advance!
People say the instructions are sent to your email within 2 weeks of the Oath date, sometimes within 1 week.

You should get the email about a week before the ceremony. Some people get it a day or two before the ceremony.

Mentioning the date as XXX doesn't really help. What was the date your ceremony was supposed to be on? If it is in the future, you can wait until a week to a couple of days before the ceremony.

Can someone please confirm this statement?

Yes, you have to send ALL pages of ALL passports used during the 5-year eligibility period, whether expired or not. This is a new requirement that came into effect in June 2021. If you don’t send it, they will return your application.

I don't see this in the application guide or in the online application question.

Wait, this is a requirement from June 2021 i.e. submitting copies of all stamped pages? Ugh

That is correct. That is for paper applications but it is NOT mentioned in the online application guide. However, if you do NOT submit all pages of passport with your online application, the application will NOT be returned BUT you will still be asked for it at a later point in time.

Ok, thank you for clarifying this, i still have roughly a couple of months remaining before I submit mine, so good to know about this.

A related question. So do I have to upload all the pages of the passport or does it have to be only the stamped pages? And if stamped pages have language other than English and French, do I need to get those translated as well?

ok, so I found it in the checklist

https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/citizen/cit0007e-2.pdf

Colour photocopy of all pages in your passport(s) or travel document(s) during your five (5) year eligibility period, including the biographical page which includes: name, photo, date and place of birth, passport/travel document number, issue date and expiration date. • If your passport validity was extended, include a photocopy of the page(s) containing the extension stamp(s) • If you do not have a travel document or passport, provide an explanation in question 14 of the application form

Thanks guys

So do they pages with stamps have to be translated in English or French (if not in those languages)?

Yes, you'll have to translate pages not in English or French.

Hello @rajkamalmohanram , I will like to ask , is it okey if I use my PSW certificate as language evidence or I use my university transcript, even though I only did one semester in that university as I am transferring to another university in the fall . Your reply will be appreciated.
