TIMELINE FOR MY HCCP VISA APPLICATION (outside Canada)

November 27, 2019 - submitted HCCP visa application to IRCC Edmonton
December 2, 2019 - Delivered to IRCC Edmonton
February 24, 2020 - Got AOR (not temporary) email that IRCC received my application submitted on December 2, 2019
July 24, 2021 - got an email from IRCC asking for updated employer job offer
August 18, 2021 - sent the updated documents to IRCC Edmonton through courier
August 28, 2021 - received an email from IRCC saying they received my documents
December 4, 2021 - received an email from IRCC requesting for biometrics, medical, police certificate
December 14, 2021 - biometrics done
December 17, 2021 - police certificate done
December 21, 2021 - medical done
January 4, 2022 - received an email from IRCC saying that my application has been approved

Notes:
- Officer M.I./L. - Case processing officer
- Single applicant from Hong Kong
- HCCP application

Is there anyone who have the same same situation, I applied in 2019, the process is taking so long, and I am planning to get married, the only problem is that I don't want to update my application and add may future husbang because I am afraid that it will take longer because I added him in my application, We are getting old already, and we are planning to start our own family. In God's will and my application is approved. Can I go back to the philiipines after 1 year and get married. Then, I will go back to canada and update my status so I can add him as my dependent? Thank you. I don't know what is the right decision, If I will get married now or wait for the result of my application. thanks
