I did not get the oath invitation. I noticed that the big box with the oath ceremony instructions disappeared from my tracker but still the tracker shows the oath in progress. I think they cancelled the ceremony on that day and will re-schedule it, but when nobody really know!!!
Any update? did you get your oath invitation letter? or did they give a new oath date?

Are the officers back to work or are they waiting for Omicron to explode and shutdown the country completely so that they can have another excuse now. COVID>>Afghan crisis>>Covid(Delta)>>Covid(Omicron).
Omicron is another Godsend gift for IRCC. They were looking for another excuse after Delta.

Its funny. I mentioned to someone about IRCC's Afghan applicants' 'excuse' and i was told that well they are not responding or prioritizing our cases either. not that I am surprised but it felt good to hear from the horse's mouth.

Had the ceremony today, it's very nice, almost makes you forget you've been waiting 2 years for it xD

I sent an inquiry to them on 11/11 and again on 11/29 (just got the standard reply) and then received an invite 12/21 - not sure if the inquiry sped it along, but you can always try it! Good luck! (Also if you want to update my info in the spreadsheet, it's all in the signature)

IRCC just uses Afghans' crisis as an excuse, as with covid-19. We know that only few Afghans arrive per month. No way these hundred of peoples take ALL IRCC huge immigration resources.
