I just wish that the new variant(or any new ones) will not cause the closure of CA’ boarder. Otherwise we may have to experience the painful 2021 again:(

I just got an update in my account (application details in my signature). I have been asked to upload the following:

1) Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) (for myself and my non-accompanying spouse)
2) Additional Family Information form (IMM5406) (for myself and my non-accompanying spouse)
3) Height & eye color (for all family members)

In the request letter, they have asked for IMM5669 and IMM5406 for me and my wife. However, I believe these have to be uploaded for all family members who are over the age of 18. My son was 17 when I applied, but he has since turned 18. This has been noted by the immigration officer in my GCMS notes as well. Therefore, there is no chance that they have somehow overlooked this fact. I guess they haven't asked for it because it is not required for non-accompanying children. In any case, I am happy to see some movement in my application.

Oh! I just saw on the PPR thread that an FSW applicant got their PPR today: October 2020 AOR, visa office = Ottawa & London = Almost the same as mine! It seems like things have started moving for the London visa office.
Do you know which one is the primary VO?

Then there are some folks like me who have been waiting for an Ita for the past 3 years. When the score finally become competitive in Jan21 there were no draws... You guys are lucky who are waiting for a decision...:(

Are PPRs normally issued either by primary VO or local VO depending on workload distribution?
Before now (pre-Pandemic), the primary VO does the bulk of the processing and then routinely transfer the files to the secondary or Local VO for PPR issuance. However, currently most LVOs are closed or working with minimal capacity, so the primary VOs now sending the PPRs themselves. Unfortunately the only active primary VOs are CPC-O and CIO. People whose primary VOs are not any of these are somehow screwed. Hopefully the local VOs become active soon
