Hi All,
I am a PR holder and I want to apply a visitor visa for my spouse. She is a fresh graduate and is not working in my home country. She is currently living with my parents and I am supporting them financially. If I do apply for her visa, what are the chances she will get it? How can I make her case stronger for a visitor visa approval?
Thanks

As per the new guidelines, you can apply under family reconciliation clause.

That doesn’t guarantee a spouse will be approved. Strong ties to their home country like property, job, having savings, previous travel history, etc. makes applications stronger. Have you started the sponsorship application? Certainly no harm trying.

Dude I am Permanent Residence… I am telling you ircc is approving under family reconciliation clause because many family members haven’t met their close one’s due to covid.. so it’s worth trying…

I just shared the link which says that…I am not denying different applications have different results…

What are the chances of approval on spouse visitor visa if a spousal sponsorship has been already submitted?

There is no guarantee that IRCC will approve your TRV even if they are a spouse of a PR or citizen. Many got confused by the family reconciliation announcement because they thought that it meant that all TRVs for spouses of PRs and citizens would be approved. More TRVs are being approved than before covid but not everyone. Agree that is no harm trying.

Impossible to say. Better than before covid when most were denied. Partially depends on your ties to your home country. We have also seen more approvals when sponsorship have been stuck in processing for much longer than precovid processing times. No harm trying.
