Spousorship received at March 8 2021, no updates after 8 months

Hi there,

My sponsorship application was received by IRCC at March 2021, after that, there is no updates. I didn't even get my AOR. Did other people have the similar issue? I can understand that it will be long during pandemic. But it is just too slow. I contacted IRCC several times through IRCC web form, they always told keep on waiting. Is there extra thing I can do in this situation?

That is fairly long and you should call and check; if you ask, you might get a temporary file number. If they have no record, there is a possibliity it's been returned. Good luck.

Ask on the IRCC web form for several times, every time, they just say you need wait, blabla. This is so fucked up.

Try calling. Also inquire through your MPs office. You could also try linking (but would be odd if it worked without AOR), and gcms notes.

The key thing I believe is: if they now say they no longer have such a file, it likely means it's been returned as incomplete.
