Hi There

question in IMM 5406 form,
I have added both my parents, their children details and their siblings.
Do I have to again give all the principal applicant family members again ( my mom her maternal family details, my brothers and his family, my sister and her family and my family details also)?

As I have already given these details in the background information form.
Please help.

Thanks
Raj

Yes, I felt like banging my head while I was filling these forms. Lots of repetitive stuff, but it’s IRCC, they feel like they are god.

Sorry to say but you do not qualify to sponsor your parents. You cannot sponsor one member of the family and leave the other unless they are divorced.

They are dependent on each other and you have to qualify for all the dependants in the family whether you are sponsoring them or not.

Check the following links:

Dependent Term
https://www.canada.ca/en/services/immigration-citizenship/helpcentre/glossary.html#d

How do I calculate my family size to sponsor my parents and grandparents? Check example 1 on this page:
https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1460&top=14

And Medical Requirement for all Accompanying and non Accompanying dependant:
Medical exams
All of your family members need to pass a medical exam, even if they aren’t applying to come to Canada with you. Failure to declare and have family members examined will affect your application, and you will be unable to sponsor them in the future.

You are at the stage where you have to pay for medical exams for both and then receive a sponsorship refusal letter if you do not meet the minimum income requirement.
What if I have enough income, but I don't think my father ever did the biometrics and I only paid for 1 person? Can I pay for my dad (application + fees)?

So you meet LICO including all the people in your family plus your parents, that is good. You add him to the application and your father then does the medical and biometrics. You pay his fees too.

Hi Dear parent/grandparent sponsors.

This probably has been asked 1000 times, however I tried to google the forum threads and could not find the answers:

1) Form IMM 1344e Main Application to Sponsor - I am applying online. When the form is filled out and approved, it says that the digital signatures will be applied when I upload the form, yet the guide says it needs to be printed and signed by me (sponsor) and parent - the applicant.
How does it really work?

2) Form IMM 5768 Financial Evaluation - Shall I print the signing page, sign and scan, then attach it back or will my digital signature (not sure how they have it) be applied there too?

3) In the IMM 5768, Question 14 (I don't have a cosigner btw). I worked at one job for the last 3 tax reporting years. However my family size has changed in the middle. Do I split this working period in two parts?

i.e. Period 1 - Same job - X summed gross income for the period, N - family size
Period 2 - Same job - Y summed gross income for the period, N+1 - family size

Thanks in advance and apologies for a long question!

I am also planning to submit my parent's application but I as the sponsor changed my address after receiving the invitation letter. So i would need to submit proof of change. My question is whom I should write the letter too.
We had the same issue back then. IRCC ended up requesting proof of address change. We used utility bills and screen shots of our address change of driver's license. Just address it to IRCC case officier or whom it may concern... I guess. I don't remember the details.

If they are all on the application (i.e. your brothers and our sister are both under 22 and single but above 18), then yes. It's a lot of repeated information. But there are some extra ones. This is how IRCC application forms work.

Thanks, When did you submit your application, and how long did it take for processing the application.
Do we need to submit the Biometric for parent grandparents' sponsor ship?

It's a while ago (2018 PGP). So timing and info abotu biometric was not revelant to current applications any more.

Hi,
I created an account in the PR online application portal and filled some forms. The status is "initiated". Now I have decided to do my application through a lawyer. My lawyer, started an application on my behalf and i can see that application too in my portal. Is there a way to delete the application that i previously initiated? or is it ok it just stays there without submitting ?
Please help !
Thanks

Hello Friends,
Is there a specific CV format we need to follow as I don't see anything mentioned as such in the guide. Please advise.
Hi All,

Following it up my question again, appreciate if someone can help me here.
And I'm the sponsor so do I need to upload a CV for myself as well?
