Spousal TRVs don’t exist. You are just applying for a regular TRV.

If you are saying only spousal TRVs are not getting processed that implies that they are a different category.
What I mean to say is that people who has applied for siblings and parents are getting responses but everyone who has applied for a spouse is still waiting

That is incorrect. Plenty of spouses have received answers. Application for spouses often require more consideration that extended families.

When you say received answers, you mean received approvals for spouse visas? That's what matters. Cos getting refused is a waste of time, effort and money. And what exactly do you mean by more consideration here compared to extended families and why is that so?

Parents, siblings, tourists have only one option ie. visitor visa to come to Canada, so it seems like they make up the bulk of TRV applications especially after they introduced the new IRCC portal.
Also it looks like spousal applications are undergoing more scrutiny than parents applications and I guess that's what's causing the delay.
