Hi, can a person with a visitor record in Canada, travel domestically by AIR within Canada?

Will they face issues at the airport for this?

If the visitor record has expired (but less than 30 days has passed), can they still travel domestically ?

WOuld love answer to these. Thanks.

Yes you can travel domestically. Immigration status not checked for domestic travel. You just need a ID proof with photo. Driving licence would also work.

You can apply for a visitor record in any one of two periods while in Canada - 1. before your visitor visa expires OR 2. Within 90 days of your visitor visa getting expired.

Bad advice. If you wait until after your visa expires, you have to apply for restoration. Applying for a visitor record is not enough and will not be approved or put you back in status.

I probably should have said something about not waiting but I thought it's implied and that you should realize that waiting is a bad idea? No one wants to wait until it expires. If someone applies after expiration then it's probably because of unavoidable circumstances.
