My timeline


Linked application -18th august


Aor -19th august


Medical passed-23rd august


Adr imm 5669 request 13th October submitted same day


Adr was also sent by webform on 18th October


Got email confirmation on 22nd October that we have received your document . Also got the webform reply that we have added your document to your file. Status of additional document was changed to we are reviewing additional document you provided from uploaded


27th october - ghost update -in morning and ghost update in the evening and background status changed from progress to we are processing your background check and after 1 hour received portal email

Hi everyone! I have received an email from supposedly IRCC the email address is IRCC.ClientPortalPrairies-PrairiesClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca and there is a pdf attached requesting my information. The problem is the pdf does not have the flag on the header, All of my information is on there and I'm worried that it is a scam. I applied from Toronto but the pdf says IRCC Calgary 4604 at the end. I cannot reach IRCC client centre and don't know what to do, Do you have any suggestions? Did anyone else received an email from this exact email address?

Hey, i received portal invitation from exactly the same agent, IRCC Calgary 4604. It all worked out, they have sent me the portal credentials, I uploaded my address and photo, now waiting for COPR.

Hello! I have been seeing a lot of people saying linking their application. Just wondering if I need to receive a AOR first before I can link my file. I have been checking my email everyday since May 6th, still nothing :(

You can actually try to link your application to your GCKey account prior to the AOR, but officially you are instructed to link your application after you receive the AOR by IRCC.

Hello everyone, I want to share my timeline with you my stream is the graduate french stream.

I applied 27 June every document and payment upfront

Got AOR 18 October

Medical passed 25 October (submitted old results from 2018)

3 ghost updates on 27 October and PR Portal and then credentials after I replied all in the same day

uploaded my address and photo and now waiting for eCoPR

Hi Guys,

wanna share my timeline to you.
Applied on IG stream at EST 2:48pm
Got AOR: 10/06
Got first Portal email: 10/27 confirmed still inside Canada
Got second Portal email:10/28 uploaded photo

No ADR needed, No Bio needed.
Hope everyone has their PR ASAP. THANK YOUUUU~

Pros like:
1. For someone who just can't wait to confirm if their applications are accepted and under review, or
2. For someone who may get their updates or request by IRCC agents in their "pre-linked" GCKey account before the AOR so they can take actions earlier, or
3. For someone in certain circumstances (rarely happen but it exists) who would probably never receive their AOR while their application is actually being normally proceeded.
Cons (WARN):
Someone who pre-linked their file to the GCKey account may miss the very latest update or requests issued since after they officially receive their AOR. For such an odd situation, they are advised to create a new "temporary" GCKey account and re-link their application to the new account, then the updates may probably refresh and show up there. (And people can also re-re-link back to their original account later and delete/ignore/keep their "temporary" account, but note that the same application case can only be allowed to exist in either one of their accounts in the meantime.)
