Anyone from Montreal got online test invite and/or oath ceremony

I don't understand, CIC says they are processing applications from Afghanistan now as a priority (which i understand from a humanitarian standpoint), but at the same time I still read that people from 2020 or even early 2021 are getting their Auth. I am from 2017, and I am still waiting, this is absurd.

Your application has taken too long even before the pandemic. From 2017 to March 2020, this is 3 years. More than enough to finish normal files. Your file seems to be complex for whatever reason.

I saw the update on the citizenship tracker website .
The notice to appear for oath email and the documents needed will be sent to me few days before the ceremony .

As expected, they move forward with later applicants. Started with Feb and March 2020 applicants and onwards, while leaving 2019 applicants behind. This is planned. Not random. 2019 don't matter any more

I will be happy when I receive the oath invitation but I am eternally frustrated and disappointed with IRCC. This was a lifelong mark they left in us. They don't realize this has a long-term and perception-changing effect on Canada because they are raw in dealing with human nature. People feel loyal when they are treated fairly and welcomed, not as a charity work with dismissive and cold arrogance

OMG 2017 something wrong here! u may be eligible for a legal action against them.

Like IRCC they do background check and they keep applications for months and years waiting for Oath this back check will expire or anyone could do anything against the law and illegal after checkin up on him between the day they checked on him and the oath. what a horrible service this needs to be straight forward with all the tech nowadays.

Hey Guys, I just received my GCMS (ATIP) notes. They say that everything passed and:

Final: Granted
Oath: Not started

PAPER FILE
Office: Montreal Citizenship
#: [my application number]
Location: Virtual ceremony for online testing.

So looks like the file is in this special room but nobody wants to touch it for some reason…
