An “offer of employment” is not the same as a “job offer letter”. If your employer doesn’t need an LMIA to hire you for the job, they need to submit the offer of employment in the Employer Portal. Once submitted, the portal generates an offer of employment number that you need when you apply for your work permit.

I didn’t do the “offer of employment” as you said here. I just submitted my Job Offer Form.

i need clarification with this request please?

It doesn't mention anything about posting in the Employer Portal. It just says to give the employee that you wish to hire the IMM5983e form.

Thank you for the clarification. I was just confused because most of the 2019 applicants were asked of LETTER OF EMPLOYMENT as an update request, which is DIFFERENT from the job offer form (the website says that). Maybe that’s why they are delayed because they didn’t comply? Yes, it was NEVER mentioned in our checklist, but why they asked those applicants for the letter of employment?

You don’t need to provide if you are outside canada . Just provide offer of employment.

Oh okay. I’m inside Canada actually, and I don’t have request yet. I just read this request to 2019 applicants. But I also need this information (if we have to do it or not) for my sister in Philippines (she will replace me as soon as I finished my contract). Thanks

I was referring to OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT, not job offer form. If they only requested a job offer letter, then that is easy to provide.

I am 2019 Nov applicant. Sent 24 month proof on April 2021. I got biometric payment request on Aug.3. Sent payment receipt Aug.4.
Still waiting for biometric letter. Is there anyone like me? What can I do?
