I got a document request for photocopy of my passport and visa stamp covering my 5 years eligibility. I still have my last passport covering the last 4 years and 4 months.
But i dont have 2 passport covering the first 8 months of my eligibility, I just didnt keep them after they expired. Would it be an issue?

No idea how they will interpret and how much delay it would cause.
Dont you have even the photocopy of those passports? if not then send whatever you have and wait and see what happens.

So with the application, you kept the front and last page of those missing passports?

I had photocopy of the first page that a sent with my application but nothing for page with stamp. I made those photocopy when I applied for permanent resident.

Send them whatever you have and provide a letter of explanation as to why you can't provide a passport for the first 8 months of the eligibility period. If you became a PR after the first 8 months of your eligibility period, this should pose any issues IMO.

Thx, thats what i'm thinking also. And i have the passport that cover everything since I became a PR with a good buffer for the physical presence.
