I think what has happened is they have increased their speed and processed many applications in a short time since 2-3 weeks ago and now there are a very big bunch of cards to be printed and posted. I guess that is the reason we do not see any status change after DM.

Hi there,

Congrats on receiving the PR cards, happy to seeing updates on cases.

Could you please tell me how long you stayed outside Canada? Just trying to ascertain how many days it takes from in process to decision made and mailing of PR cards for applicants whose cases are straightforward vs complex cases like a lot of travelling or stayed outside straight for more than 2 years.

We stayed our initial 3 years outside however since mid of 2019 we moved here permanently and applied for renewal once we were more than 2 years inside Canada.

I received AOR on 1st Oct and I see the first line same as yours. "We received your application for a permanent resident card on October 1, 2021"

Although my app was received on Jun 17th, I hope that it's just a clerical error and the average processing time would not apply from this date :(

Mine is still shown in process since AOR received on 1st Oct.

Hi there,

Congrats on receiving the PR cards.

We received AOR on Oct 1st and our app was received there on Jun 17th.

Mine is still showing in process while my child and wife's status shows decision made.

We are in Canada for more than 2 years now and based on that I applied for renewal as 730 days of residency obligation has been met.

Would you mind sharing that how long you stayed outside of Canada? Just want to ascertain how long it takes for straightforward vs complex cases

That's my fear too. I've sent a web form asking them about it but doubt I'll get much out of that.

Hope the agent is right!

This is a renewal and the total number of days outside Canada was just 128 days over the 5 year period

You ll be alright bud, cant see any material issue with your application.

Which part of Ireland are you from? I have beautiful memories from Dublin, lived there 7 years !!
