Yeah , but my doubt while raising webform for passport pick up , they are asking to upload pdf.. can I upload the email in that option ?
Bro there is no need to do something just take print of that email, required ur two passport snaps 50 by 70 size, need ur orignal passport and fill the form which attached in that email, gathered all of these things and went ur concern visa office. I did same things if something different in ur case then i dont know but in most cases procedure remains same.

Hi, sorry can I ask you something, since you did it so recently: I just got a PPR request. I am currently outside of the UK, visiting my parents. I will be sending the passport to London visa office on Monday by DHL, round trip. Couple of questions:
1. We don't need to pay anything else to VFS once we've paid the residence fee, right? I called them twice, but they were utterly unhelpful, so I am still not 100% sure..
2. I am attaching the RFV letter, height and eye colour statement, two photos, VFS consent form, confirmation of payment of the residence fee. There is nothing else, right?
Would really appreciate it if you could get back to me.

I got a PPR today it says

Passport photos: One Passport size photograph (photographs must
conform to the specifications outlined in the Guide to Immigrating IMM 3999 and
Appendix B Photo Specifications)

I tried searching online and confused on the photo and size. Can some help me with this.

My PPR (the RFV letter) has the photo specification on the last page. Yours doesn't have it?
The size is 50 x 70 mm, with the head measuring 31-36 mm. You'll need two unaltered photos with accurate skin tone, no artificial lighting or special effects. You'll need to have your name, DOB, address of the place the photo was taken, and the date of the photo written in the back by the photographer.
But you should really find the specification, there is a whole page of requirements (albeit, pretty straightforward).

CHeck the VFS website, there typically is a handling fee, I believe in many cases it is waived for those who have paid biometrics in respect of the specific application.

That's the thing: there doesn't appear to be one..just courier, printing, assisted services, etc. I've had my share of visa applications, so I deliberately looked for one, and I asked the person on the phone when I called, but they could barely put a sentence together and were honestly unhelpful (twice).

The reason why I asked is that payments are probably structured in a similar manner across VFS offices in different countries, so I thought you could help. Thanks anyway.

I found vfs responses to be more reliable by internet chat - and no hold music. YMMV.

Go here:
https://visa.vfsglobal.com/gbr/en/can/apply-visa

And select 'submit passports and other documents' for instructions. You will almost certainly have to pay at least the package transmission fee. I think you'll have to pay additional service to return passport with docs to you (courier basically). This is where local services (in each country) can be a bit different.

Hi. Thanks for this, I've just posted in another thread before I saw your post here.. I was under the impression that a transmission fee is paid when your biometrics have to be transferred from another visa office..but now I am thinking that this might be the one applicable to our case. Thank you so much! I think I'll just pay it, worst case, if it's not applicable to us, they'll get extra 15 quid. Thank you, this was super helpful.

@armoured I just went to "Submit passport" section (massive thanks for leading me to it) and they are saying that I need to attach Appendix B. My RFV letter from IRCC has no mentioning of it? I would fill it out just to be on the safe side, but where do I find it?
