hey when did you order your gcms note, mine VO is also Montreal and i am an inland application ( AOR Dec 5). I got my GCMS note on July and eligibility was not even started
I applied in May end and got a month later with no updates (as expected). I usually call them every month to check if there is any update, which I think is quick and better than ordering gcms notes. However, recently they are only taking urgent calls so I have again applied for gcms note earlier this week, hopefully I will have an update. I also update my signature if I have any new update, which as you can see - it is same as yours: eligibility not started with nov aor.

I hate to sound too optimistic, but I think we're in the same "batch" for that ghost update we all received at the same time. @meshimeshi @TAJBIR

Might be an indicator that our PR approvals are close
I would like to confirm you guys that I too saw a ghost update on Wednesday. I also don't think that it would be my medical because it is still way out for renewal. As many of us saw it, I guess it has to do something with general like sending our file to another vo? maybe something internal like assigning new officer, I don't know but I would like to be optimistic and think this is good sign.

yeah, maybe Montreal is finally getting back to work. I don't think this update is a glitch since so far, it happened to only Montreal applicants. I'll stay optimistic about this too.

I am not seeing a single approval from Ottawa Vo especially from august to October. Some of us here are from sept 2020 Aor with no movement on our files from last November. I did get ghost updates back in July and in august for medical extension. But nothing since then.

Could it be that Ottawa has been dealing with refugees?
I really don’t think so. The number of refugee applications isn’t so high and I remember reading a report they processed 75 percent of those applications in a week. I feel it’s more owing to most cec applications being in Ottawa VO:)
