In the paper application, the physical presence calculator has to be the same date when sending as the main application, is this the same on the online application?

Mine was a paper application....
It has the same issue what you are facing wrt dates...
the To date should match... the From date differs by a day between the paper application form vs PPC.

e.g. in my case I signed and submitted/couriered the application on 2nd Aug 2021.
Physical Presence Calculator Eligibility Period: 2016-08-02 to 2021-08-01
Application Form Eligibility Period: 2016-08-01 to 2021-08-01

What @abbas.pasha described in his message is a known bug in the online application, that IRCC is probably aware of.
By correctly entering the application day in the presence calculator and the prior day in the online application, you end up with a 1 day discrepancy between the two.
Just ignore it, there's nothing you can do about it yourself, apart from, obviously, having enough buffer so a day discrepancy doesn't matter at all regardless of what IRCC actually considers as the correct 5 years period.
