I think they have been asking for these documents randomly. It is not mandatory to share these during the application itselff

Lawyers haven't received anything yet. Do you know if for spouses open work permit , Amy educational or experience certificates were asked? My lawyers didn't asked me for her documents but mine. Mine is ICT visa from US.

My employer filed an ICT GSS LMIA-exempt WP on 18th august, completed biometrics on 1st September.
On 26th Sep, I received an additional documents request, asking for previous and current employer's relieving, appointment and experience letters along with last 3yrs form 16 and 6 months paystubs.
Has any one else got such request? Or you provided all these documents while submitting the application itself?

Hey, My employers Attorney's office did ask for these documents before they submitted my GTS (LMIA required) application. I reckon these are really essential documents to submit for a WP. The biggest challenge for me was to get a reference letter from my all previous employers, because I never got that issued from any of them..
So yes, the request from IRCC to you is completely legit here. Thanks

Had to reach out to the previous employers HRs via LinkedIn/Friends who are still working there.. It was a mess but had to do it in order to avoid any further roadblocks.

Same boat here, LMIA applied on August 6th.
Sent additional required docs on September 3rd

Certainly, below is the timeline..
LMIA Applied - 12 July
LMIA Approved - 27 July
Location - India
Upfront-medical exam - 30th July
Bio-metrics - I already had an UCI number as a part of prior visa process (visitor).
GTS Application applied on - 7 Sep
GTS VISA Approval - 7 Oct (today itself)
